Terms and Conditions
Owners must be available during the entirety of the appointment in case an emergency does arise.
Deposits and Cancellation..
A £20 deposit per pet and completed registration form will be required to secure the booking. The deposit acts as the cancellation fee. If you cancel your appointment between 48-72hrs (3 days) notice you will lose your deposit.
Within 48 hours’ (2 days) notice will result in the FULL PAYMENT of the appointment to be paid. This must be paid before another appointment can be made and all future appointments will be cancelled.
Late to an appointment..
Lateness of more than 20 minutes will result in the appointment being cancelled and you will be liable for full payment of the booking. Lateness results in delays for other owners and I will not have a sufficient amount of time for the service booked. Fees must be paid before another appointment can be made and all future appointments will also be cancelled.
A no show where you do not attend the appointment and do not contact Floofy Paws Dog Grooming. You will be liable for the full amount and a new appointment will not be scheduled until the outstanding amount is paid. If you do now show the likely-hood of you being welcomed back is unlikely.
Late pick up..
A message will be sent to owners either saying 'Pick up in 20 minutes' or a specific time for pick up. Owners need to arrive on time for pick 5 minutes grace period will be allowed. If owners are running late or can not make it back to collect at the time specified, then owners need to contact Floofy Paws and let them know why.
If you are more than 10 minutes late for pick up a £20 fee will be applied on top of your outstanding balance which is to be paid on pick up. Refusal to pay the late fee will result in future appointments being cancelled and no further bookings made until paid. If you are late and it extends into the next appointment an additional £20 fee will be added.
This fee does not give owners permission to leave there pet in Floofy Paws care for an extended period of time. Floofy Paws does not own a day care license and will not be applying for one. If owners and emergency contact can not be reached then the dog warden and/or RSPCA will be contacted for abandonment.
Personal Details..
All personal details provided of the owner and animal presented, (including their medical, behavioural history and previous grooming history) are up to date and correct. Details are not shared outside Floofy Paws Dog Grooming and will be kept for 2 years.
After this they will be deleted if no longer a Floofy Paws customer. These details are for insurance purposes, by not providing all the information you will not be able to claim against my insurance.
Owners must be available during the whole duration of their pets appointment in the event I need to contact you regarding your pet and an emergency. Emergency contact details should also be kept up to date in the event the owner of the pet presented is unable to be contacted.
Emergency Treatment..
In an emergency if Floofy Paws Dog Grooming needs to take your pet to your registered vet for emergency treatment due to injury or illness not caused by Floofy Paws Dog Grooming during the appointment. Floofy Paws Dog Grooming will not be held liable for the fees.
Photos and Videos..
Photos and videos of your animals will be posted on Floofy Paws Dog Grooming social media to build my portfolio and for advertising. The social media includes Facebook, Instagram, Google, Tiktok and for any other advertising needs. This includes before, during and after pictures. Also their name. If you do not wish for any of these to be posted you must make me aware as soon as possible.
Payments and Disputes..
Your pets will be returned to you after full payment of Floofy Paws Dog Grooming charges for the services provided, fees discussed at booking of appointment and any additional fees will be discussed during the groom. Payment is to be made via cash or bank transfer. Further, you understand that any disputes will be settled only after full payment has been made for the services.
Vaccinations..
Vaccinations must be up to date. If they are not up to date or you have decided not to vaccinate that is at your own risk. Floofy Paws Dog Grooming will not be held responsible for any illnesses or injury that could be prevented with the vaccinations.
Flea Treatment..
Flea treatment must be up to date. If treatment isn’t up to date or you choose not to treat your animals, Floofy Paws Dog Grooming will not be held liable if your animal catches fleas. If your pet visits the parlour and is found to have flees a £30 fee will be added to your appointment for a flea bath and the extra time needed for the treatment to take effect.
This WILL NOT treat your animals for fleas, and you will need to seek further flea treatment and home treatment. If fleas are found on more than one occasion, you will no longer be accepted as a customer at Floofy Paws Dog Grooming. Your appointment will be ended immediately, and you will be liable for the full-service fee and all discounts will be revoked.
End a service early..
Floofy Paws Dog Grooming reserve the right to refuse service, end the appointment or not do part of a service due to injury or illness of the pet presented. If the appointment has been attended with no discussion about any injuries or illnesses the FULL appointment is payable on the day of the appointment.
